Drug discovery: descrittori di ionizzazione. lipofilia, polarità e permeabilità specifici per composti beyond-rule-of-5 (bRo5)
La ricerca della prof. Caron si inserisce nel contesto del drug discovery e si focalizza principalmente nel progettare ed implementare descrittori chimico-fisici sperimentali e computazionali (es. descrittori di ionizzazione, lipopfilia, permeabilità) specifici per la caratterizzazione di composti con struttura grande e flessibile (anche chiamati i composti che stanno al di là della regola del 5 di Lipinski).

Drug discovery: Ionization, lipophilicity, polarity and permeability descriptors for beyond-rule-of-5 (bRo5) compounds
Prof. Caron reserch interests concern drug discovery and mostly focus on designing and implementing experimental and computational physico-chemical descriptors (e.g. ionization, lipophilicity, permeability, etc) specific for large and flexible compounds (also called beyond-Rule-of-5 compounds).
