Thrilled to announce an upcoming academic rendezvous at DBMSS, Via Nizza 52, Torino, where the delegation of the Biotech-Tunisia project will join forces with Italian experts in academia, industry, and higher education.
Biotech-Tunisia Overview:
Biotech-Tunisia is a pioneering European Structural Project under the Erasmus+ CBHE Programme, focused on Capacity Building in Higher Education. The main objective of the project is to modernize university training in Biotechnology within the Tunisian partner institutions.
Specific Objectives:
- Improving Skills and Qualifications: Enhancing the capabilities of young graduates to improve their integration into the socio-economic environment across various biotechnology applications—pharmaceutical, cosmetic, biomedical (red biotechnology), industrial (white biotechnology), agri-food (green biotechnology), environmental (yellow biotechnology), and marine (blue biotechnology).
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Strengthening and anchoring the entrepreneurial spirit in the biotechnology sector among new graduates.
- Innovative Learning Approaches: Promoting and introducing new learning approaches among trainers.
- Capacity Building: Improving and strengthening the management and governance capacities of the project's partner academic institutions.
The meeting is scheduled from January 29th to February 2nd, 2024, promising to be a forum for insightful discussions, leveraging the collective expertise of the Tunisian delegation and their Italian counterparts.
